Meet Matti C. Tacy

Associate Attorney

Matti, a native of Florence, Massachusetts, is an Associate with Egan, Flanagan and Cohen in their Corporate Department. Her interest in corporate and business law was sparked by her longtime employment as a Sales Associate at MurDuff’s Jewelry, a small family-owned and operated business for nearly 80 years. Her practice area focuses on corporate formation and governance as well as general commercial transactions.

In 2024, Matti obtained her Juris Doctor, concentrating in transactional law, from Western New England University School of Law, where she graduated in the top 25% of her class. During her time at WNEU Law, she enjoyed working as a commercial real estate paralegal at a local firm. At the start of the summer before her final year of law school, Matti joined Egan, Flanagan and Cohen, P.C.’s Corporate Department as a Summer Associate which later transitioned into a yearlong legal clerkship working with small businesses across Western Massachusetts.

Prior to enrolling in law school, Matti graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College where she earned her dual Bachelor of Arts in sociology and politics.

In Matti’s free time, you can find her farming with her family or exploring trails with her Saint Bernard, Tessie.
