About Michael...

Michael is an Associate with Egan, Flanagan and Cohen in the Estate Planning and Administration Department. Michael’s practice focuses on a range of probate issues, with an emphasis on the areas of estate planning and administration. A Western Massachusetts native, Michael especially enjoys working in the community and is passionate about finding solutions for local clients.

Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from Western New England School of Law in 2022, with a concentration in Transactional Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar later that year. He is currently a member of the Hampden County Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Michael attended Westfield State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science with a concentration in Law in 2019. During his time at Westfield State University, Michael was a member of the Economics Society and the Phi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors Society.

In his Junior year, Michael presented a semester-long survey and research project entitled “Not Sunk Yet: The Sunk Cost Fallacy in Car Repair” at the 2017 Westfield State Celebration of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity. He is also a recipient of the University’s Academic Excellence Awards in the areas of Economics and Political Science.

In 2017, Michael earned his Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Springfield Technical Community College. In his second year at STCC, Michael served as president of the student body and as member of various campus and statewide advisory boards. In recognition of his accomplishments and leadership, Michael was selected as student graduation speaker for his graduating class.

During his studies at STCC, Michael was inducted into the Commonwealth Honors Society, earned an Honor’s Certificate, was listed in the “Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities,” and joined the Phi Theta Kappa Honors International Honor Society. In 2016, Michael earned the DeMarco Family Memorial Scholarship and the Our Lady of Grace Assunta Society Scholarship.

Michael is an avid and hands-on automotive enthusiast. He has been a member of the BMW Car Club of America Connecticut Valley Chapter since 2017. He also enjoys listening to music and plays various musical instruments.
