About Paul

Paul is an Associate with Egan, Flanagan and Cohen in the Litigation Department. Paul’s practice focuses on a range of civil issues, with an emphasis on civil rights, landlord-tenant disputes, land use, and small business matters. Litigation is a second career for Paul, who grew up in Southern Connecticut and attended UMass Amherst, where he graduated in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in economics.

After UMass, Paul worked in corporate procurement departments for twelve years, first in the procurement office at C&S Wholesale Grocers, one of the largest privately held corporations in the United States and later at as a Commodity Manager with Jacobs Vehicle Systems, a division of the Cummins Engine Company, the world’s leading manufacturer of diesel engines. Paul also served as a procurement software systems administrator during much of his time with C&S, which included assisting the perishable procurement department with the integration and training of the purchasing staff at a newly acquired subsidiary in Houston. At Jacobs, Paul continued his dual role as a software administrator, helping the company through an ownership transition.

While working at Jacobs, Paul was inspired by one of his coworkers to take the LSAT and apply to Law School. Paul then attended Western New England Law School as a part-time night student while he continued to work full time for Jacobs. Paul was on Law Review and was a summer associate at Egan, Flanagan and Cohen, all while he continued to work at Jacobs. Paul Graduated Western New England Law cum laude in May 2023, passed the July 2023 Massachusetts Bar Examination, and returned to Egan, Flanagan and Cohen as an associate in the litigation department in August 2023.

During his spare time, Paul enjoys cooking, traveling around New England, and hiking with his wife and their two dogs, Ivy and Olive.
